Where Does Your Decorating Inspiration Come From?

You can find inspiration for decorating in almost anything that catches your eye!  Perhaps it's the item's colour or texture or a combination of both that makes you want to "decorate around it". (check out my Pinterest board titled "Colour Magic" if you need some inspiration!)

The other day; while meeting with  clients, I was asked to help pick a colour for their daughter's room.  The little girl  is 6 years old and loves the colour pink (what girl didn't like pink at some point?!)  My client presented me with a reusable shopping bag she had found that encompassed the little girl's desired colour palette.  (client's bag not shown)

We narrowed the choices down to 2 lovely shades of pink from Benjamin Moore:  "Sweet Naivete" #2083-60 and "Pink Pansy" # 2083-50.  The final decision?...we'll let the client's little 6 year old daughter decide!
